All events and meetings at the church are canceled
New church office hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-noon
Except for people coming in to do a particular job and then leaving right away.

Question of how to pay hourly staff when they aren’t working

Exploring options for video-conferencing.
I think we will go with Zoom
Group leaders – watch for further instruction.

Thinking about creating small group ministries meeting through Zoom
I would do a once a month group for facilitators.
Other groups could be:
Parents
Children’s story time
Poetry and creative writing group
Atheist group
Buddhist group

Silver linings

Today was a beautiful day
Take a walk
Sit in your backyard
Call a friend

My drive into church
I stopped at Ralph’s and people were keeping physical distance.
Ordered in dinner last night and it was delicious.
People are learning how to work remotely
Think about how great that will be for climate change

The church is learning new technology that will help us connect to more people
Over 800 people viewed last Sunday’s worship service
The church is breaking out of the box.
And we will remember this learning even when we are able to meet in person again.

My mom and dad sent me an email today that closed with this Irish blessing (anonymous)
