And join by audio
If you’re in the meeting but having trouble voting

2) Message
Many of us are staying home
Home is now our living place
It’s also our work place
And that prevents challenges
But Home is now our everything place
It’s our restaurant
It’s our concert hall
It’s our sport stadium
It’s our school
It’s our vacation destination.
I live in one room – so that’s a lot to ask from one room
We are fortunate with the internet over the last 25 years
That we can get outside virtually so well
And we can bring so much into our “one space”
But it also makes me think about the space itself
Is there anything you can do, consciously, deliberately, to make your one space
Serve as the multiple spaces it’s now required to be.
Cleaning
Change pictures
Rearrange furniture
Create new designated spaces
Like an art space
Or a school space
Or elevate the dining room table so it feels more like a special restaurant.
Home now needs also to be your church space
If you don’t already have a home altar or a meditation spot
Now is a good time to create one
Gather images that inspire your spirit
Candles and matches
Flowers
A devotional object
Something beautiful
Use your home altar to ground your spiritual practice
For worship on Sunday
Before you join the Zoom room
Take a moment at your home altar to prepare
When we light the chalice in our Zoom worship
You could light your own chalice on your altar.
For those of us who have homes
Let us be grateful for our homes
And for all that we are asking them to do and be for us now.
I’ll see you tomorrow 1pm
