I’m having fun Wednesday evenings with our Bible study group.  Why would UUs read the Bible?  Well we aren’t reading it as “scripture” but the Bible is an essential text in our culture.  A basic understanding is necessary to catch references and understand the works of art, literature, and music based on Bible stories.  Without reading it for yourself you’ll have to rely on what others tell you the Bible says, often slanted to support their own priorities.  We have four more sessions.  No class this Wednesday, but join us on March 26, April 2, April 9, and April 16.!
