In these troubling times

            Exposed to the power of nature

            Vulnerable to the power of men

May we find our strength

            To hold fast to the good

            To know the truth

            To seek the beautiful

            To do what the divine spirit requires of us

            To enter the way of righteousness and persist on the righteous way

            Not deterred by the evil against us

            Nor stopped by fear

            But made courageous by love

            May we find our own power

            And encourage the power of others

            To create together the world we seek.
