I want to use my column this week to emphasize that all church members are asked to attend the “We’ve Got the Power” event after worship this Sunday.  The event is described in an article farther up in this newsletter including a “read more” link to additional information on the church’s webpage.  In just an hour together this Sunday we will share the message that the future health of our church depends on each of our members growing into their power and sharing their power with our community.  We will join in a fun exercise to name our power, and then build enthusiasm for participation in a journey of spiritual development called “Harvest the Power” unfolding over the following six Saturday mornings.  Please make arrangements to stay with us on Sunday a little longer than usual.
