This week I took down the church calendar on the bulletin board in the narthex and replaced it with twelve blank calendar month pages.  A whole year, September through August, stretching ahead.  Thanks to Aviva Heston for designing and printing the calendar pages – and for helping us create the colorful flower border that represents our congregation’s beautiful diversity.  You’re welcome to create and add your own flower!

Now let’s fill up the calendar!  The new church year begins with Ingathering on September 8.  What have you got planned?  Anyone is welcome to add to the calendar.  Bring your event to the Program Council first (Georgia Brewer, chair) to avoid conflicts, reserve space with Chadie in the office, then write your event info on a piece of construction paper and tape it to the appropriate date on the calendar.  See me if you need some help or supplies.
