June ends our busy season in the church year.  July brings needed rest.  In August we gradually build energy again for the new year beginning with September’s “Ingathering” service.  Many of our regular programs and this newsletter are taking a break in July.  I will be on vacation from July 2 through July 22.

But we still have much to do this last Sunday in June.  During worship, June 30, we will welcome new members, recognize volunteers, hear a report from the just completed UUA General Assembly, and, if there’s time, I might preach a little!  After worship we have our annual meeting, to hear reports on the state of the church, to elect leadership and approve our budget for the coming fiscal year.  Your voice and your vote are important.  Please join us.
