Spring is around and within us
We feel the tingle on our skin
We feel the gathering fire in our spirits
The warming days melt the snow on the peaks
And melt the chill in our hearts
We are ready, once again,
To enter the cycle of new life.

We feel the strength return to our bodies
We feel the hope return to our thoughts
We feel the vision return to our community
Of who we are and what we can become
What we can make and do
The church we will create
In this expansive season

It’s easy now to rise and step forward
Because the earth is lifting us, too
In an irresistible movement of growth and fertility
Every flower blooms for us
Every bird sings for us
