We’re halfway through the current church year and what an impressive few months it’s been. Our average attendance is up and we’ve welcomed several new members. We launched our new uustudiocity.org website. We’ve done some roof repair and replaced rain gutters. We celebrated our 80th Anniversary, including new-composed choral anthems, guest speakers and musicians, a gala dinner and raffle. We hired an RE Director and restarted full children’s programming including “Third Thursday” family nights. Our choir performed a “Fall Showcase” and participated in the MLK Choir Festival organized by our own John Bergquist. We regularly serve 45-50 persons every Tuesday morning including breakfast, lunch, clothing closet and a shower truck and recently held a neighborhood listening sessions to get neighbor’s feedback on the program.
What are some of your favorite accomplishments? We have a lot to feel proud about. We’re doing well. And we’re doing good.
