80th Anniversary Celebration

We our way into our 80th Anniversary month celebrations.  Sunday mornings we will continue to celebrate with history-themed worship and special guests.  Former music staff Anthony Concepcion was here last week.  Nancy Holland and Rev. Jay Atkinson will join us later this month.  And for the last three Sundays of the month the choir will feature world-premieres of anthems composed just for the occasion by myself, John Bergquist and Dan Cragen.

But the biggest anniversary event is our celebration dinner on Saturday, October 28.  Did you get your invitation?  Invitation were sent by email.  Check your Inbox and RSVP right away, please.

We also need your donation for the dinner’s Silent Auction.  We’re looking for “treasures” you might have at home:  a beautiful vase, or antique clock, a framed painting you made, or a gift you were given that’s truly lovely but just not right for you.  See what treasures you can find and hold on to them for now.  Let Reid Swanson or I know what you’ve got, and when the time is right we’ll ask you to bring it to the church.
