I am excited to announce the creation of a new committee.

Hooray!  A new committee!

Seriously, I am excited for this one.  I would like to inaugurate an Arts and Aesthetics committee at UUCSC.  The purpose of the committee would be to make our church more beautiful  and to better communicate to visitors the personality and programs of our congregation and the principles of our faith.

The “Artist’s Corner” feature in this weekly newsletter proves how abundantly blessed our congregation is with artists and creative people of all types.  I’m excited to bring those talents together to work collaboratively on projects for the church.  I already have a few projects in mind, but I’m looking forward to hearing other people’s ideas, making our ideas better by building on each other’s inspiration, and working together to bring them to fruition.

If you’d like to join me in the founding of our Arts and Aesthetics committee, our first meeting will be Wednesday, June 7, at 6pm, at the church.  Give me a heads up that you’d like to attend.  All are welcome.
