Look at this sweet photo I took today!
I probably should have waited until Valentine’s Day to use it, but I couldn’t wait – and that’s great spiritual advice, by the way: when you have something good to share, something beautiful, lovely, hopeful, don’t hold it back; the best time is always now.
The image is a little pool of water collected in a concrete depression between two planters. The cross-hatching you see in the water is a reflection of the building above it. I came across the image when I was walking around downtown L.A. this afternoon doing some errands.
Beauty surrounds us. Love surrounds us (that’s Universalism). But sometimes we have to look for it. Keep your eyes open, and you ears, and your mind and heart. Love might be there, even where you weren’t expecting to find it.
