Times of crisis is also a time of opportunity

When things are broken During the AIDS crisis I learned that the Chinese character for Crisis But not untrue

In the public sphere, this might mean I don’t know about that But we could be intentional about our personal lives

A lot is broken right now Change your home Eventually the crisis will pass See you tomorrow at 10am on Zoom

We have a chance to remake in a new way

Is Danger and Opportunity
Probably Apocryphal

Rethinking our economy
Rethinking our health care system
Rethinking our response to climate change

Sometimes in our rush to “get back to normal”
we miss the opportunity to change

How would you like to remake your life?

Do you automatically turn to video and the internet
Books?
Music – really listening
Conversation
Phone calls?
Have you been taking relationships for granted?
Intentional nurturing.
Feeling the absence of exercise?
Longing for the outdoors?
Longing for community?

The danger will pass
But we don’t have to let the opportunity pass so quickly
Don’t just “go back to normal”
Re-make your life to look more like the life you really want.
