God of our hearts
Nameless one
Highest, best, furthest yet nearest
Comforter that loves us as we are
Perfection that calls us to grow beyond our limits

Be with us this day.
Be with us this hour.
Be with us this moment
As we yet again set our intention
To walk in your ways of kindness, gentleness, love
To be merciful to those who wrong us
To make justice where we see oppression
To heal ourselves and others
To relieve the suffering
To repair the broken
To restore the damaged world
And to create an even better world than has ever been before.

Be with us and stand afar from us
Attracting us with a vision that calls to us across the years
As moment by moment
We create the world you hope for us
And the world we seek for ourselves.
