Let us still our minds

And be in quiet peace

With that all pervading spirit of love

That moves through this room

And through each of us.

Let us feel the gentle, calming touch of the holy

And feel at home in ourselves

Comfortable in our chairs

Comfortable in our bodies

Breathing lightly

Like a soft breeze

Our thoughts extend beyond ourselves

To touch with compassion

Every soul in this room

Comforting any silent pain

binding all wounds

Encouraging each anxious spirit

Extending further beyond this sanctuary

Into the neighborhood, our city, and beyond

We find we have gifts overflowing

To care for all the suffering

To love all the lonely

To heal all the hurting

To strengthen and the weak

Every person that receives our attention

Feels new life and hope

Every place that receives our notice

Begins to manifest a brighter future.

Our thoughts bestow blessings

Our dreams of peace begin to come true

Now we rest, for a moment

In the peace of this room

In the peace of our hearts

In the promise of this day

In the power of our love.
