I invite you to settle in to your seat

Close your eyes, perhaps

Lower your shoulders

Feel the gentle pull of gravity holding you to the earth

Your breath slows

The pace of your thoughts slows

Time seems to slow and stop

There is nothing to do but relax

Around this little church, the world goes on

But we’re at peace

We’re aware of the moment

Every breath makes us more relaxed

Grateful to be alive

Grateful for this day

Grateful for this worship hour

Grateful for this community of good people

You are loved

You are filled with love

You are made from love

You are a source of love for others

You breath in love

You breath out love

Holding on to the peace of this moment

Gradually you re-enter the flow of time

Your awareness expands.

Your thoughts begin again

The love that never ceases continues to hold you

And goes with you throughout the rest of your day.
